The source code you and I write is optimized for humans, and there are lots of different ways of expressing ideas especially in code. This is why the community develops best practices to guide and styles to fallow, just like in english class! In this talk we will walk through some of the basics and expand up with implementations of tools like Rubocop (https://github.com/bbatsov/rubocop) and others that can help you write and communicate better with other developers.
