Olu Ayandosu on Building User Interfaces with React.js

Elio Grieco on Managing Infrastructure with Ansible on the Digital Ocean

Managing collections of servers, whether virtual or bare metal, is a time consuming and error prone process. How can reclaim our precious time?

Ansible gives us the ability to take advantage of today’s “disposable server” paradigm and vastly reduce time spent provisioning, configuring and reconfiguring machines. Additionally, because Ansible is embraces a declarative approach to describing configuration, updates are efficient and idempotent.

This talk assumes no prior experience with Ansible. Nor is experience with Puppet, Chef, Salt-stack, Capistrano or other configuration management or deployment systems required.

Basic Ansible usage will be covered as well as more advanced techniques suitable for managing fleets of virtualized systems on modern “cloud” providers.

The group meets at 6:30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at GoDaddy

2150 E. Warner Tempe, AZ 85284
